Pre-departure Greeting

As I began organizing my belongings for the upcoming trip to Germany, I started consolidating the "digital artifacts" related to this excursion and I was amazed that the first email initiating this program is dated 2/8/2017. In spite of all of the planning completed during the past 15 months, I am confident that this trip will lead all of us to unexpected places and new ways of seeing—how wonderfully exciting. 

We are fortunate to have had the family and extended support structures that lead us to a place anchored in the values of integrity, respect, and service. We are equally fortunate to have the support that is enabling us to set sail on this journey. It is my hope that this blog will serve as a porthole through which extended family and friends can view our voyage.
