All attention all,
We have officially arrived in Germany. Most of us boarded a plane late in the afternoon. We had a chance to watch the cool yellow sun set and rise all in the same flight. We touched down in Berlin to the sight of vastly dense green forests and grasslands, with large wind farms off in the distance. To my surprise the airport was very small and many of the people there spoke english. This is when the waiting game occurred. The group slowly started to arrive in pairs of two of three until we were all almost there. The bus was bored to head to the dorms, and many took the opportunity to catch up on some much needed rest. The dorms are built out of an old 1890's factory building. We are sharing the building with other students from Norwich who are studying Criminal Justice.
As far as today goes there are many lessons to reflect on. First, plans are always changing. This means that you have to be flexible and understand that everything is not going go as planed. I also found out real quick that communication with Germans is more difficult then expected. Speaking or communication with them is kinda like playing charades but with a language barrier.
